The Belmont Forum’s Advancing Leadership Program (ALP) was presented to a global audience at the Muscat Global Knowledge Dialogue & ISC Third General Assembly in Oman.

This event provided a platform to highlight the need for transdisciplinary (TD) leadership development and promote the Belmont Forum’s role as a key encourager of TD research.

Anne-Teresa Birthwright (ALP Lead) participated in two panel discussions that emphasized the need for a shift in higher education and research training to equip future scientists with skills for collaboration, policy engagement, and problem-solving, and explored the evolving landscape of science diplomacy.
