Lee Allison, acting chair of the Coordination Office, will speak on the E-Infrastructure and Data Management project at the 2016 European Geosciences Union General Assembly (17-22 April) in Vienna, Austria. A Town Hall event, "Belmont Forum e-Infrastructure Data Management for Global Change Research," will occur on Wednesday, 20 April from 19:00-20:00. He will also present the poster "Development and Implementation of Collaborative e-Infrastructures and Data Management for Global Change Research" on Friday, 22 April from 17:30-19:00.

The 23-nation Belmont Forum has implemented an international program to implement recommendations for an e-infrastructure to support global change research. This includes action themes for 1. Coordination, Communications, & Collaboration; 2. Data Planning & Management; 3. Best Practices; and 4. Human Dimensions/Training. The Town Hall will provide updates on these initiatives, describe potential funding opportunities, and ways for participation.
